Born on the desolate, yet wheaty plains of Alberta, elemente’s Angus MacKenzie was raised on a steady diet of Frosty Flakes, 5-star rye and Sinclair haggis. For the past nine years Angus has been elemente’s Editor-in-Chief, Creative Director, Marketing Manager, Web Developer and Business Development Officer.
Angus is also often confused with the other Angus MacKenzie of MotorTrend fame. Angus wants to point out he is not in fact that Angus MacKenzie but is indeed the other Angus MacKenzie.
With educational papers in marketing from both Mount Royal University and SAIT’s Automotive Service Technology program, Angus decided to blend the two disciplines and follow an entrepreneurial path. That sometimes chaotic, dysfunctional, craggy, hazardous path eventually led him to the world of publishing and this magazine. Angus has also been a judge for the Western Magazine Awards on more than one occasion.
While this website is primarily mandated to promote innovative architectural forays, automobilia experiences and creative things, it is also a portfolio outlet for the founder to promote his photography and design folio.
